PRIVACY & STORAGE · UPDATED 24 OCTOBER 2026
Your work in this browser
The website is publicly accessible. The research Workbench and course exercises use your browser’s local storage; they do not send your entries to a medibo database or an AI service.
What stays on your device
- Workbench records and a local backup created before the first update to existing records.
- Course completion marks and lesson exercise notes.
- Edited workshop briefs stay in the open page until you download or copy them. They are not saved automatically.
These records are tied to this site and browser, not to a medibo account. Anyone using the same browser profile on a shared device may be able to read them. Do not use these tools to store passwords, credentials, or confidential records.
Keep a copy
Use Export JSON in the Workbench before clearing browser data or changing devices. The export is a backup of this companion’s records. Automatic import into the Windows Workbench and cross-device synchronization are not available.
Clearing this site’s browser data removes local records, backups, course notes, and completion marks. The course’s Reset progress button removes completion marks only.
Requests and external services
Your browser requests pages, videos, and downloads from the hosting service. The hosting provider may keep operational request logs. We have not added advertising trackers or analytics scripts to this site.
Videos are served by this site. Course links to other services open those services separately; their own privacy practices, permissions, and charges apply. No external accounts are connected by the course itself.
Payments and subscriptions
The published course is free. This site currently has no checkout, newsletter signup, or payment collection.
